We are happy to present ECUADOR BIRDING JOURNEYS, an 11 day adventure, visiting Ecuador’s top birding hotspots.  Accompanied by a tour facilitator and an experienced bilingual bird guide, our tour takes you to the important birding areas of northern Ecuador, from the western foothills of the Andes to cloud forest to the high altitude paramo to the edge of the Amazon.  You can score hundreds of lifers here in this one fell swoop of a tour, all without having to spend a fortune.  Expect to see 400 to 500 lifers on the trip!

TOP BIRDING EXPERIENCE ON A BUDGET

We realize that not every birder who wants to visit Ecuador can afford many of the tours out there.  We will visit the same birding hotspots of the pricier tours,  provide top guides, comfortable transport and smart accommodations at a fraction of the cost.  We are based in Ecuador and have decades of experience in the tourism industry, so are able to provide the best experience without breaking the bank.

What Makes Us Special

With more than 25 years in the tourism business, Ecuador Expat Journeys has a wealth of experience in showing Ecuador off to the world and organizing all kinds of excursions for families, university groups, people considering relocation to Ecuador and others.  As Ecuador has been recently recognized as one of the best birding locations in the world, we have seen the need for affordable tours that not only visit the best birding spots in Ecuador, but also let visitors experience other aspects of this incredible and biodiverse country.
